Area Sales Manager – South East Area

Hours: Fulltime, 39 hours per week

 

Field-based role, managing an Internal Sales Representative & Customer Service Executive, to manage an area and maximise sales of the Deanta product range. This includes developing sales strategies to generate leads, attract new clients and close sales to achieve weekly and monthly quotas.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling a comprehensive range of high-quality interior doors and ancillary products
  • Selling to specialist door retailers/ builder merchants
  • Dealing with independent merchants and managing/expanding those accounts
  • Liaise with internal team regarding account management of existing clients
  • Approximately 30/70 split of time spent generating new business relationships and managing and expanding existing accounts
  • Organising your own diary and visits in order to develop relationships with merchants
  • Liaising with internal support staff and marketing team to maximise sales within your territory

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven track record of field-based sales within the construction industry
  • Preferable to have a track record of selling to independent merchants and ideally specialist retailers with joinery related products
  • Experience building new relationships with independent merchants
  • New business hunter mentality (not looking for an account manager)
  • Experience of developing long term relationships with clients
  • Full UK license
  • Experience using ERP/CRM systems

Junior Sales Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our business for a Junior Sales Executive to join our incredibly fast pace sales team. Deanta can offer the successful candidate a clear progression pathway with sales training provided both externally and internally.

Deanta is a B2B business providing internal doors to the merchant industry.

The Junior Sales Executive purpose is to work closely with the sales function to build on relationships with existing customers as well as creating and building the leads of prospective new customers to increase sales and maintain relationships.

The Junior Sales Executive role involves managing our customer base from our Head Office based in Ely to drive sales through the business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deal with all incoming customer communications whilst ensuring an excellent customer journey
  • Getting in touch with customers frequently via phone to upsell, cross sell and manage all opportunities with repeat customers
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from enquiry to order
  • Managing KPIs to ensure delivery of exceptional customer service
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects and update CRM system
  • Ensuring customers are signed up to the portal with full visibility of offerings available
  • Work closely the Marketing Department to ensure the customer has full access to all marketing collateral
  • Update all stockist lists to guarantee full visibility for customers on where to buy our products
  • Adhoc projects to be completed on demand

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving KPI’s
  • Strong phone presence and experience of busy phone lines
  • Proficient with corporate productivity

Report to: Area Sales Manager Lead

Warehouse Operative

Hours: Fulltime, 40 hours per week

 

Job Purpose: To assist in the overall production and despatch of customer’s orders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilising WMS to receive/pick/dispatch stock and orders
  • Check any goods received in and sent out are correct in relation to paperwork/WMS and in good condition – report damage goods
  • Checking for damaged or missing items
  • Storing goods
  • Moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck may also be required
  • Picking and packing orders
  • Loading & unloading goods by forklift or hand
  • Keeping records of stock
  • Keeping paperwork up to date
  • Cleaning work areas
  • Adhoc transfer or delivery of Goods using appropriate vehicles

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven work experience as a warehouse operative
  • The ability to plan and organise
  • A calm, level-headed approach
  • Extremely motivated
  • Heavy lifting and manual handling required
  • Counterbalance forklift licence experience required
  • IPAF 3a licence desirable
  • Multidirectional side loading forklift experience desirable
  • VNA/Order Picker experience desirable
  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and listening skills
  • A good level of general education, in particular able to demonstrate numeracy and literacy skills
  • Loading & loading Goods Vehicles & Containers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility and commitment to getting the job done
  • HGV driving/shunting experience advantageous
