OUR COMMITMENT TOWARDS THE ENVIRONMENT
As part of our commitment to environmental responsibility we have teamed up with Ellgia Recycling. Following Ellgia’s waste hierarchy guidelines, we make sure that we recycle as much as possible. In fact, as a business, we fully embrace our responsibility (Environmental Protection Act 1990) to handle the waste in a safe and responsible way, transferring it to authorised persons.
During the period 31/08/2015 to 01/09/2016, we have disposed of 48.410 tonnes of recyclable waste, of which the main part was mixed wood, the rest was organic waste and mixed dry recyclable waste.
Of this waste, a remarkable 100% has been recycled by Ellgia.
Moving forward, we will keep focusing our attention on the correct disposal of waste, so that we will be contributing to the optimal use of resources and have a minimum environmental impact at the same time.
